Submission

Finally! we are the second group to present. we reached school early in the morning and prepare everything. So everyone present own sections. Sir razif commented that the "OOTD" part should be more alignment / spacing  text and also picture.  And the rest of the parts, the design can be more nicer. Overall it looks complete and finishing. And also the interactive part is okay.

After we finished presented. We submitted the MIB file and....


FINALLY!!! WE DID IT!

Week 14

Yea. Is submission tomorrow! Before the submission date, we still keep on fixing the technical problem. After done all the design and interactive parts, we trying to compile both of our sections. We thought that it's very easy, but......


We spent 3-4 hours to compile everything sections. And we found out that is the magplus version problem. Finally, we done our magazine! Because still have some time, we touch up our design and interactive parts inorder to make it look more nicer and presentable. 

Week 8 - 13

we still testing on the interactive part. We face a lot of technical problem, and keep finding resource from internet. Some of the problem that we cant find, and we seek for Sir Razif help. He gave some idea guidelines. A week before submission, we still testing on the interactive technical. Yea, Its really hard to fix it.

In order to make some of the interactive part work and also our time is not enough, we changed some magazine layout design. Make it simple and look nicer. This save us a lot of time. Because sometimes, we spent there whole day......... for nothing.

Week 7 -11

These few weeks, our group trying to test the interactive part. We had tried few software which are Adobe muse, Adobe Edge Animate, Adobe Flash to create the interactive. We also tested how export from Indesign and also the magplus.

Some of the animation we tested it so long, but it doesn't work. So we keep changing software to make it. This situation make us so hard and burn time.

Week 6

This week our group are going to finish all the design work. (Content page, OOTD, Movie section and also Music Band section ).  After consulted, the movie sections still have to change a little bit to make sure the interactive can run smoothly.

The overall movie design sections color will be more black, this can bring out the cinema feeling. Besides, also applied some of the food and stuff that related. The interactive part overall will be more simple and usability, for example like slide, swipe and press.

And next week, we are going to start next step, which is the interactive parts.

Week 5

This week our group presented our mock up  in the class. Each of us use Ipad to present sections in order the overall layout look  more nicer and real. we set the width 1024 and 768. It fit mini ipad and ipad. Overall the interactive sections is still okay and just have to do some change. So after the presentation, we know what is the problem and continue to work on the design part to make it more nicer before the next presentation.

Week 4

This week we changed one of the section " Book " to " Band" section. In this sections include local bands.
Below is the roughly idea layout " Band ".

After this, we rearrange everything and our leader assigned the job.
Joshua will work on the "OOTD" section.
Marwah will do the "Band" section.
Joel will do the cover and contents.
And me will work on the " Popcorn" section.

We preparing prototype and our ideas for next Monday presentation. 

Week 3

Firstly, we listed out the contents of " Red Carpet " and changed this section to " OOTD " section in order create a simple and usability to nowadays younger readers. This is because of the tittle and the layout will be the main to attract their attraction and interesting to read the magazine.

After listed down all the contents, we sketch out the three options of the OOTD section.

First option -  Few pictures split into 3 horizontal rows, and words " OOTD " will be front and center.

Second option - Three vertical blurred picture background, and words " OOTD " will be front and center.

Third option - One blurred picture background, and words " OOTD " will be front and center.

The basic introduction will be pop out after the first page.Both of the options functions almost similar, just have to swipe up and proceed to next page.

Next, the background will be no longer blur. The portrait will be split into 3 horizontal rows which is top (head), middle ( body), bottom (legs) parts.So user have to swipe left or right ( 1 row / 2 row / 3 row ) to view different style of wearing.

Others, based on the second option the background will be no longer blur also. And the three pictures will become more clear. So, user have to swipe up each of the picture to view more details and description.

Week 2

In this module, four people form in a group to create a digital magazine. After the discussion, we locked down three categories which is Red carpet, Book and Popcorn time. Others, we look for others people work to get some inspiration.  We discuss more about how to make the overall layout more usability and readability for reader. It's mean make the magazine more simple and easy to navigate.
